How To Play

Simple Rules, Unlimited Fun

Mytherrea is a dice and token based game, in its very early stages, in which you play as one of five gods fighting for the realm of Mytherrea. The lore behind the game follows a world in an alternate universe called Mytherrea, in which gods are real and interact with mortals. One god - Mytherreos, the god of life, commands over all other gods along with everything living. However, a mortal by the name of Xanolon ended up killing Mtherreos using a stolen weapon from the gods. Now, the balance of power has been disrupted and many major gods are now fighting each other to gain hold of Mytherrea. Use your god’s abilities to your advantage to take out the other gods and claim Mytherrea for yourself.

Items in the board game:

24 D6s with varying faces.

A bag filled with an undecided number of 3 different mortal tokens.

15 different projection tokens with three of each.

5 character cards with life counters.

Playing: Every character has 4-5 corresponding dice. Each turn you roll each die for its effects, which divide into 4 categories: Damage, Summon, Block, and Heal. Each category does as described. Some abilities are rarer and stronger than others. You may reroll any number of dice once before ending your turn.

Damage: Damage deals straight damage to another player, and lowers the corresponding amount of health of the target player.

Summoning: Some abilities allow you to gain mortals or projections. When you summon mortals you randomly choose a mortal token from the bag of tokens. There are three classes of mortals - Worshippers, Martyrs, and Cults. You can sacrifice one worshipper reroll any one die. You can sacrifice a martyr to flip a die to the other side. You can sacrifice a cult along with a martyr to change any one die to another face. Cults alone do nothing without a sacrifice. You must wait until your next turn to use a summoned mortal or mortals to change a die. However, if a die face requires mortals to be sacrificed to have effect, you may use mortals you summoned that turn. When you summon a projection you just take one of your corresponding god. Projections can be used at any time, including as a response to an action someone else is performing.

Block: Blocking protects your god from the immediate damage any 1 roll would deal. Blocking is only good until your next turn and completely negates the damage of a die that has just been used (i.e., you can NOT use a block to counter the effects of Vigorous sun or Full arsenal).

Heal: Heal provides the opposite effect of damage. You gain a corresponding amount of health as what says on the die. You cannot heal over the base health of your character.
